Month 1 |
- Orientation.
- Assessing the needs and resources available.
- Initial analysis of legal and political approaches to mental disability advocacy and reforming the existing system of mental health care.
- Collecting comparative data and finding the priority research areas.
- Arranging for the field trips (resource persons and organizations in the CEE region).
- Requesting the materials needed.

Month 2-6 |
- Researching on the proposed subject according to the identified priority areas under supervision of the mentor and in collaboration with resource persons.
- Field trips within the CEE region (mental disability advocacy NGO's, patients advocacy services in hospitals etc.). Subject to funding available.
- Preparing lectures for university students.

Month 7-8 |
- Consideration of the results.
- Preparing articles for potential publication.
|
Month 9-12 |
- Presenting the results at relevant international/national fora.
- Building a comprehensive report.
- Publication and dissemination of the results, policy papers for
non-governmental sector;
national policymakers; national academe.
