The Bologna Process and the former Soviet Union

What this paper does not wish to do is to encourage borderline between Europe and the former Soviet Union countries joining the Bologna Process, nor to describe the fSU countries - bearers of strong academic traditions - as 'Bologna periphery.' Rather than proposing policy options based on convenient generalizations, it seeks to promote complexity and difference for the Bologna process agenda.
