IPF panel "Policymaking and Democracy: The Challenge of Transition" at the 20th World Congress of the International Political Science Association (IPSA)

At the invitation of IPSA and following their successful advocacy event in Romania entitled "Policymaking at a Crossroads" (see Romaina seminar), Romanian International Policy Fellows from IPF's 2005-06 "Policymaking in Transition Contexts" working group (see http://www.policy.hu/themes05/policy/index.html) reconvened in Fukuoka, Japan with their group advisor, Carleton University Professor Leslie Pal. The 20th World Congress, entitled Is Democracy Working?, focused on issues of democratic governance around the world (see http://www.fukuoka2006.com/en/).
