2000 - 2001: Polish higher education in transition: The identity crisis of the modern institution of the university
The objective of the research is to provide a philosophical and theoretical background for the reform of higher education in Poland and Central Europe with respect to the decline of the traditional, modern institution of the university; explain the decline of the cultural project of modernity and that of the nation-state; discuss and propose foundations for grounding the reformed university within the current social, political and economic climate of globalization; and develop a policy paper in the field of higher education.
