2002 - 2003: Internet privacy and freedom of expression
The objectives of the project are to provide a comparative description of problems of privacy and content regulation on the Internet; devise proposals for legal means to effectively address these problems without threatening civil liberties; and write policy papers in the field of information policy for the Internet Provider's Association for Self-Regulation, alternatives to current legislation for the Ministry of Economic Affairs, and an expert opinion to the data protection ombudsman.
