2003 - 2004: Financing culture in accession countries: Market mechanisms in Bulgaria, Hungary and Lithuania
The objectives of the project are to examine the implementation and effectiveness of market methods for financing culture in accession countries; propose recommendations for their development within the process of EU enlargement; write articles on the topic in selected Bulgarian journals; and write a research and policy paper for the Ministries of Culture in Bulgaria, Hungary, Lithuania as well as the Bulgarian Parliamentary Culture Committee and National Civil Forum for Culture in Bulgaria.
