3. Social Work – training, work role and praxis in an European perspective.
An area which I currently follow . Participated in a European Council Study on
this topic, several invitation to France to present papers on the topic, an
effort that resulted in a Eurpean network.
Currently directing a program ( are 1 & 2) with doctoral students and senior researchers. The Social Construction of Gender in the Social Services, Workplace Cultures and Modern Parenthood are two of the projects in progress and Childhood in Linked Family Systems and The intimate life of the foster family are two recent doctoral thesis. Member of a comparative study of family life between Sweden and Turkey. The results Autonomy and Dependency in Family – Turkey and Sweden in Critical Perspective. My contribution is The Family and the Welfare State – A Route to de-familization.
