2002 - 2003: Politics of health care reform in Eastern Europe and the role of supranational organizations
The aim of the project is to describe, explain and interpret the development of CEE health care systems comparing the aims of initial policies with achieved outcomes; assess the influence of both internal and external political actors and institutions on health care reforms; compare two countries in the CEE region to draw policy lessons for future health care reforms; and produce a policy paper for the Economic Research Institute of the Republic of Belarus Ministry of Economy and the World Bank Representative Office in Belarus.
