2003 - 2004: Municipal development planning and public involvement in Russia
The objectives of the project are to conduct a survey of current practices in Russian municipal development planning; analyze key problems in respect to public involvement in that process and compare Russian practices in municipal development planning with internationally recognized approaches; provide Russian municipal authorities and community leaders with appropriate recommendations concerning municipal development; and write a research and policy paper for the Russian Municipal Development Resources Center and Association of Specialists in Local Economic Development.
