- project on determinants of local administrative performance across CEE countries (Tocqueville Research Centre);
- project on policy evaluation in Romanian central administration - i.e. Ministries of Education, Health, Youth and Sports, and Labour (Romanian Academic Society - German Marshall Fund);
- consultant to the Ministry of European Integration (see below);
- social policy co-ordinator for the Early Warning Report of UNDP;
Expertise in the implementation of the EU acquis on social issues (consultant to the Romanian government on the negotiations on Chapter 13: Employment and Social Policy, also covering partly Free Movement of Persons, and Consumer and Health Protection);
Good knowledge of the health policy of European states and of the relevant acquis (mainly acquired through LSE Health and the European Health System Observatory of WHO);
Good knowledge of the Romanian health policy and system (e.g. projects on health reform, pharmaceutical policy, implementation of health targets, PhD Economics research on health social insurance);
